Love Yourself More!
“And the second is like, namely this, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is no other commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:31
You often think that you do love yourselves, but your actions or what you do to yourself does not reflect it. Loving yourself means accepting the fact that you are flawed and imperfect. It is an essential way to live a healthy, consistent, orderly, and pleasing life. It is a way to fulfill God’s greatest commandment that says ‘love your neighbor as thyself. If you do not love yourself, then your love for others is para facial and unloving.
Winners love themselves no matter what that circumstance may be. Look in a mirror, and tell God ‘I love the I am that I am…’ Love your neighbor as yourself. The emphasis of this starting point or sentence is not your neighbor, but yourself, because what you have is what you give.
TO LOVE YOURSELF MEANS THAT YOU ARE NOT LETTING ANY BITTERNESS TO BE ROOTED IN YOUR HEART or FEEL UNGRATEFUL. The decision to love yourself is in your hand, and it is the will of God for you as well. I encourage you TO LOVE YOURSELF MORE. *Lucille Ball said “love yourself first, and everything else falls into line. You have to love yourself to get things done in this world.”
Loving yourself is a bedrock of personal growth, a light that turns dreams into reality, a gas that fuels happy relationships with others, and a foundation that keeps you healthy. If you did not love yourself, start now. In the next few months, you will see how life will be better than before. You will see how your health, relationships, business, ministry, and friendship will improve.
“Live in freedom, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God.” 1 Peter 2:16. Loving yourself is not to embrace self- indulgence that creates the fulfilling the desires of the flesh and the mind or to admire sinful nature, such as selfishness that is contrary to the will of God, but to give glory and honor to our heavenly Father. Love yourself to appreciate God’s faithfulness and grace in your life.
As 2019 is coming to an end, I pray you shall find grace to;
• Love ‘yourself’ as you stop the tears,
• Forgiving ‘yourself’ of your past mistake and take back ‘yourself.’
• Keep believing in ‘yourself’ as you repackage and move forward.
• Continue to know the truth, and the truth will set free you. John 8:32.
Prayer:
1. Thank God for every opportunity He has given you to live.
2. Thank God for the Grace to pardon, heal, redeem and crown you with loving-kindness
3. Tell God to uproot every spirit of depression, anxiety, and bitterness in your heart.
Remain blessed in God’s Grace, in Jesus Name. Amen.
