Miracles Do Happen!
He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20
God can do the impossible. Do you believe in miracles? If you don’t, maybe you should. Webster defines a miracle as “an event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore considered to be the act of a divine being.” Quite simply, a miracle is something that cannot be explained by natural law. It’s an event that occurs outside the realm of what we know to be possible. This world is full of things we do not understand.
God does great and unsearchable, marvelous things without number (Job 5:9). Though, for some people, this might mean that they do not believe in miracles because they do not believe in God. For others, miracles are just events that we may not understand. They may have a scientific explanation, but at this point, we do not know what that explanation is. Either way, it is important to remember that just because we may not understand something does not mean it does not exist because miracles do happen. Deeper faith in God’s power to do the impossible is what we need in these uncertain times.
Acts 3:6 says, “But Peter said, “I have no silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you. So, therefore, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise and walk.”
I read a story of a young man driving home from work one day when a car came out of nowhere and T-boned his vehicle. The force of the impact sent His car spinning into oncoming traffic. He thought for sure that this was it, that he would die. But then, out of nowhere, another car hit his car again, stopped it from spinning into oncoming traffic, and walked away from that accident without a scratch on him, all because he had a guardian angel watching over him.
Likewise, the angel of the Lord has encamped around you and is ready to deliver you; therefore, don’t join the gang of unbelievers who don’t believe in miracles. There are countless stories of people who have experienced miraculous healing, answered prayers, and other supernatural events. So, I encourage you to deepen your faith in God’s word and be inspired to trust God more fully no matter what you are facing in life. Remember, either closed or open case; the miracle is something to look forward to. Amen. Hebrews 11:6 says, “And without faith, it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.” Amen.
Prayer:
1. Every yoke of unfaithfulness and doubt, break off me and let me go now in Jesus’ name. Amen.
2. This year, You shall celebrate your victory over unfruitfulness, failure, stagnation, sickness, or any other obstacle that may be holding you back from reaching your full potential in Jesus’ name. Amen.
