Missing the Purpose!

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.” Mathew 6:33

There are times when I look at the way we live our lives, the way we struggle to get wealth, the way the world is craving after power (political, fetish, and so on) and also the high ratio of immorality in the church. I ask myself, where have we missed it in the body of Christ, is this why God created us? If the answer is NO, then what happened? It is a misdirected purpose.

The purpose of man’s creation is not to be a slave to the things that are created before him but to have dominion over them because they are created for us. To receive that dominion power over everything created for us is to “seek God” in the relationship and his “righteousness” that separate us from iniquities. And whatever things you are looking for in life shall be added unto you.

Psalm 81:8-16 described God’s love, intention, and purpose for Israelite and how He wants to fulfill it. However, God withdrew His plan for them because of their refusal to be loyal and obedient. God’s demands to us are straightforward and clear: Just obey!

Obedience is better than sacrifice for the sake of destiny. Therefore, it is high time to get back on track with God. What he wants is communion with you and me, which explains why God would come down from his throne in heaven to chat with Adam when he was still in the garden of Eden. Remember, “God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord.”1 Corinthians 1:9

PRAYER:
1. Sings a song of praise to God.
2. Father, I have decided to do your will wholeheartedly. Do not let the devil entice me to change my decision.
3. Pray that God should help you hold unto Jesus till the end in Jesus’ name. Amen!
