Never be Ashamed!

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” Romans 1:16

When you say you are ashamed of doing what is right or what God has called you to do in this life, that means you are still afraid of someone or something else. And when fear is present when you are in God’s presence, that fear needs a check-up for make-up.

Someone being ashamed means misplaced confidence or lack of faith in what you do or believe because a faithful worker will handle the word of truth without being ashamed. You cannot be ashamed of Him (God) who sent you because of what people say or what they will say. Neither will you let him down nor deny God in the face of trial.

Hebrews 4:11 says, “Let us labor, therefore, to enter into that rest, lest anyone falls after the same example of unbelief.”

There is a process for everything in life. To live unashamed of the gospel is a process of faith that we proclaimed and preached the word. We must live unashamed and trust in Jesus Christ. This is the way of living with confidence in God. If you do not believe and proclaim Christ as your Lord and savior, it means your faith is weak and useless.

When you take the courage to preach the gospel through your lifestyle, spoken words, and deeds, you are in the process of receiving the crown of glory. Boldly preach the good news about the kingdom of our father so that many will be safe from death in the name of Jesus Christ. I am confident that your preaching will bring salvation to those who have lost. Do not be ashamed. Matthew 10:7 says, “proclaim as you go, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

1. Thank God for the privilege he has given to you to be counted worthy to preach the gospel
2. Pray for the boldness to proclaim the good news just like the apostle did in the early church.
