Obedient is Better!
“Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from My mouth, give them a warning from Me. Ezekiel 3:17
Life can be so sweet when we follow the right voice that leads us to our true calling. And it can be otherwise tricky when we don’t follow the right voice. The truth is, many have been led astray in their lives by wrong voice and lost sight of truth. The position many people find themselves could have been avoided if they listened and followed the right voice.
I heard about the sad story of this couple in Phoenix, Arizona, that drank chloroquine phosphate commonly used by aquariums to clean fish tanks hoping to prevent them from COVID-19. Instead, they were poisoned with a toxic of the medication that caused the husband to die and wife to be hospitalized in critical condition. They drank it because they heard the wrong information and thought it was safe.
The information that circulates in this season, especially related to COVID-19, is not only misleading but can be dangerous. In different media, people are being exposed to false information and misinformation to the extent that they forget about the VOICE and WILL of God for their good. We need to stop listening to this nonsense that exposed people to danger than the virus that has infected our society.
What the government wants from us is to follow the rules that can prevent the spread of the virus. Although the locked down seems like the whole world is against us, but there is something we need to believe that the good government is responsible for protecting their citizen. Hebrews 13:17 says, “Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.”
Prayer:
1. Oh Lord! we thank you and praise you for your mercy and grace in our lives.
2. We come against and bind every force behind recurring evil occurrences around the world in Jesus’ name.
3. Pray as the spirit leads you.
