Praise-Oh! Give Thanks!

“Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good. His loving devotion endures forever.” Psalm 136:1

Beloved, I am thankful for the steadfast love and faithfulness of God, who has given me strength and courage to do exceedingly and abundantly beyond the limits of my understanding. The wisdom and grace that I have gained from knowing God are immeasurable. I know that I will never be able to repay Him with anything more than the praise of my lip, the dance, and the testimony I share.

Most of the time, we try to teach our children to learn how to say ‘THANK YOU’ so that they can develop a heart of gratitude, but young or old adults struggle with the same thing as well. Some people find it challenging to Live a life of gratitude that starts with God or please Him; the makers of heaven and earth, the one who created us and gave us breath; Uphold us and remains faithful.

Psalm 107:43 says, “Whoever is wise will observe these things, and they will understand the loving-kindness of the LORD.”

That is why my grandma used to say, ” Seven hallelujahs was not enough to praise my God for what He had done for me because if you know how to think, you will know how to give praise….” I encourage you to give God praise, bow before him with the heart of gratitude. Think of the goodness of God in your life and family, and sing responsively with praise and thanksgiving to the LORD: For He is good; for His loving kindness upon you endures forever. Your current situation might seem unacceptable to you, but I assured you that someone close to you desires what you have got.

It’s okay to ask God for more, but don’t let it stop you from giving thanks. Give a great shout of praise to the LORD, and the daily benefit and the outpouring love of God over your life. You have a reason to give thanks unto the Lord from day to day because he is good and his mercy endures forever. Do not let your circumstance exhaust you from praising God the Redeemer. 1Chronicle 16:34 says, “Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his loving-kindness, endures forever.”

1. Give thanks to the Lord. Play your favorite Gospel music to the tune of ‘ worship.’
2. Jeremiah 33:11- May the sound of Joy and gladness never depart from your home in Jesus’ name.
