Raise the Banner of Love!

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whosoever believe in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”John 3:16

The nature of love is called generosity. The love commandment has to be expressed, and this can be fully shown by giving. God, Himself is love, and He has commanded us to be like Him. The expression of His love is seen through His ability to give us His only-begotten Son to us. There is no greater love than this.

Just like God has expressed His love to us by giving, any man that loves must be ready to give as well. Giving, in this sense, may not necessarily be in terms of money or its equivalence, you can express your love by giving attention, advice, counsel, and so on. You can express your love by praying for your neighbor.

Ensure you extend a helping hand with your knowledge, strength, intellect, relationship, or resources. One of the best ways to know what you can give, in the expression of your love, is by looking at what you have or rather what is at your disposal, that others do not have or are urgently need. At every point, we express the love of God to others through giving; God is undoubtedly pleased with us.

Sometimes, the words that you share with others are sufficient conditions to express your love to others. God sees the problem of humankind, and He offers a solution to humanity by giving. You can as well imitate God today. 1 John 4:16 says, “we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God and God in him.”
