Reliable Servant!2
“For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” Hebrews 6:10
A reliable servant will not be taken for granted. A faithful friend will always be there for you when you need them most, and when you are reliable and dependable, your friends will always be there for you. The masters will always give their best support to their reliable servants.
When Jesus looked at Peter (rock) and said, “…on this rock, I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” Jesus was referring to peter’s reliability and his trust in him. He trusted that Peter would do the right thing when it comes to the kingdom of God. Even when Peter denied Jesus before men and women, Jesus still believed him.
Jesus told the Pharisees, “You are the ones who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is prized among men is detestable before God. “Luke 16:15.
I believe that we can all learn from peter’s example that even when we made mistakes in life, our faithful God is ready to forgive us because of our reliability. If God sees your genuine in Christ, He will forgive you and give you a new heart. God’s love for a reliable servant is more significant than any other love.
When a servant is loyal and faithful, he or she will enjoy the free future recommendation of his family and friends because of their loyalty. Proverbs 3:3-4 says, “Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.”
Prayer:
1. Lord, Thank you for your steadfast love towards my children and me.
2. Oh! Lord Jesus, I pray that you give me strength and courage to stand up against temptation.
