Reviving the Dry Bones!

Reviving the Dry Bones!

“Thus says the Lord God to these bones: ‘Surely, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin, and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the LORD.” Ezekiel 37:5-

Imagine standing in a vast valley filled with dry bones, remnants of what once was. This vivid scene from Ezekiel 37 reminds us that even in desolation, God can breathe life into the lifeless. “I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life,” He promises. These words resonate with hope and the promise of renewal, reminding us that transformation awaits when we invite God into our lives.

In Psalm 71:20, we find reassurance that, “Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again.” Here, the psalmist speaks of a divine guarantee. Just as God revived the dry bones, He stands ready to breathe rejuvenation into our hearts and minds. Picture every dry area of your life; now visualize God’s life-giving breath filling it with purpose and vitality.

John 10:10 says, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

Remember, Jesus didn’t just light the path — He poured life into our steps. In His company, even ordinary moments taste eternal. That’s why the fullness He offers isn’t louder, it’s deeper. He easily turns our scarcity into song and fear into a fearless yes. So, let us embrace the full measure of life that God offers. Think of it as a lush garden, once barren, now blooming with vibrant flowers. With each breath, God cultivates our souls, nurturing us in abundance and joy.

So, brethren, I encourage you to take a moment to name one area in your life where you’d like to declare life. Say it aloud and loudly until “Life, come forth!” Let this declaration echo in your spirit, transforming your perspective. The power of God’s breath is already at work, and it will surely bring restoration and delight wherever it is invited. Amen. Job 33:4 says, “The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.” Amen.

Prayer for the Day!

Heavenly Father, thank You for breathing on my career, Ministry, and Family. Breath of God, breathe on the dry parts of our lives. Infuse us with Your spirit, and let sinew, flesh, and life spring forth anew. May we embrace the fullness of life You promise, finding joy and purpose in every moment. In all that we do, let our actions reflect Your light, drawing others to Your love. Thank You for the hope You provide, for the healing of our hearts, and for the promise of a brighter tomorrow. In Jesus name. Amen.
