Sowing and Reaping.
“For he that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption, but he that sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” Galatians 6:8
The way we live our lives is a direct reflection of the principle of sowing that we are trained in and that forms the foundation for which we reap. Every action is a seed planted and every reaction is the harvest that we get from each of our actions. Physics understands this because God has set it not just as a law of the spirit, but as a law of nature that anyone who follows has the testimonies of the process. It is essential that you take conscious efforts henceforth to sow the seeds that will guarantee the desired result including the word of your mouth.
Proverbs 18:21 says “Life and death are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” We must be careful with what we say and do. There is fruit to be reaped as the result of how we communicate.
When God created the earth, He gave it the power to multiply through the law of sowing and reaping. Life is a system of sowing and reaping. This is a fundamental law of nature that God has set into play upon the earth, and every man either consciously or unconsciously takes part. Every believer and unbeliever intentionally and otherwise take part in this process on every single day and moment of life. This is why we are called to plant seeds. We must plant seeds for our own good.
Every harvest has a seed that must be sown; you desire to be loved, begin to love, you want to excel, sow knowledge into yourself, you desire God’s revelation in your life, business, family among others, you need to give yourself to God more than you have ever done. A little improvement to the way you do things now will turn things up a little, and if you desire a significant improvement, you need to put a great deal into it. This is the law of the spirit that God has set into motion as shown in the passage above. God set it into play for the sake of man.
Hosea 10:12 “sow to yourself in righteousness and reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he comes and rains righteousness upon you.” This statement is similar to several others found in the scriptures and represents the testimony of men who have taken a giant leap for God upon the earth. God is set to do more for you than you can ever imagine if you can do more in your walk with God this day. I encourage you to hold on to Jesus in all that you do. Let him be your guide through every step of the way. Do not forget to share this message with someone else. It’s important to remember that we are called by God for a purpose. “As long as the earth endures, seed-time and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.” Gen. 8:22
