Subscribe to God’s Voice! Part Two

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalm 119:105

If you want to know what God is saying, there’s only one way to find out: subscribe to His voice. In this age of technology and endless distractions, it can be hard to tune into the divine, but subscribing to God’s voice is the key to reconnecting with Him. By listening intently, you’ll begin to recognize His voice in your own life and understand what He wants for you. “For the commandment is a lamp, the law is light, and reproofs of instruction are the way of life.” Proverbs 6:23

Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” This means that by reading scripture, we can discern God’s will for our lives and stay on the path he has set for us. Additionally, spending time in prayer allows us to communicate with God and hear his guidance. It’s not always easy to tune out the world’s noise and focus on God, but its benefits are innumerable. When we’re in close communication with him, we can receive his guidance, protection, and love. So, how can we tune into the divine today?

2 Timothy 3:16-17 says, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.”

First, find a place where you can be alone and quiet. This could be in your home, in nature, or a place of worship. Once you have a space, spend some time reading scripture and praying. Then, allow yourself to be still and open to God’s voice. It may take time to develop a habit of regularly connecting with God, but it’s worth it. When we make a conscious effort to stay in touch with him, we experience his love and guidance in our lives. And that’s a blessing that no amount of technology can replace.

It can be hard to tune into the divine, but subscribing to God’s voice is the key to reconnecting. It is the best way to find your way back to Him. He has a plan for each of us, and by following His voice, we can accomplish great things. If you haven’t tuned your ears to God’s voice yet, I encourage you to do so today. It will be the best decision you ever make. When people pray or read the Bible, they listen to God’s voice. Following what God says is like following a map- it will lead you back to Him. Jeremiah 29:13 says, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

1. Dear Lord, thank you for giving me the strength to face my fears.
2. Oh Lord, tune my ear so that I may hear your voice. Please help me understand the meaning of life and how to live it in your way in Jesus’ name. Amen.
