The Choice You Made, Make You! 2
The choice you made today can make you happy or sad. In your career choices or in your relationships with others, the choices you make can affect you positively or negatively. If you don’t take the time to think and reflect on what you are doing, then it is easy to get lost in the noise of other people’s lives.
“Remove from me the way of lying, and grant me Your law graciously. I have chosen the way of truth, your judgments I have laid before me. I cling to Your testimonies; O Lord, do not put me to shame!” Psalm 119:29-31.
The psalmist understood the vital way of life that integrity is a crucial component of living well. He knew that by choosing to live with integrity and cling to the way of God, he would be able to live a life of true peace and joy. He chose his own path and didn’t let anyone ‘s opinion influence him.
And today, history has shown us that what he chose gives light to generation after generation. The choices you make are what determine who you become and how the next generation will view you. Therefore, choose carefully, because the decision you make has an impact on your future.
We can choose to follow Christ, or we can decide what direction our life should take. God never forces you to do something but instead decides to allow you to choose. When God gave His Son as a sacrifice for our sins, and wretchedness, He still gives us the chance to choose in John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Prayer:
1. Father, I thank you for allowing me to choose the path of life.
2. Lord, you are my shepherd, and I am your sheep direct me in the right direction.
