The Identity!

“Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God, and they will be my children.” Revelation 21:7.

The Identity of children in the kingdom of God is not determined by their age, but rather by what they do in life. There was this story of a slave boy; He asked a favor from his master not to call him a slave or servant anytime they step out for any occasion. The master agrees to call him his son, but with the condition that he has to behave like son.

Anytime they are going out, the master will begin to address him as a son and encourage him to dress well and look good as a prince. However, one day, he went out with his master on a special occasion. The master introduced the servant to the top and well noble people as his lovely son. Because of this introduction, everybody wants to be around him and favor him.

Unfortunately, because of a slave nature in him, he begins to act up to the extent that people found him eating leftover food from the garbage area. When they call for his master, that they saw his son eating leftover from the garbage, but the master replied, that is not my son, he is one of my slaves. Likewise, most people wanted to be recognized as a child of God but failed to follow the rules and regulations of our heavenly father.

Though we have faith that we are a child of God, yet we have to stay away from the garbage of SIN that enslaves us. As in Revelations 21:7-8 (Paraphrase) said that the one who overcomes sinful nature would be the children of God. Therefore, let go of past behavior and former sin. “As obedient children, do not conform to the passions of your former ignorance.” 1 Peter 1:14.

1. Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your love and mercy towards me.
2. Any power or principalities that want to separate me from the love of God let their plan be scattered In the Mighty name of Jesus.
