The Manna Stopped for a Reason!
“The Manna ceased the day after they ate of the produce of the land. And there was no longer Manna for the people of Israel, but they ate of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year.” Joshua 5:12
One miracle stops to make room for the other miracles. Your besties stop becoming your best friends when God wants you to meet another that will promote your destiny in life. The Holy Spirit works through you and for you if you allow God to perfect His Will. He knows what it takes to get there; therefore, paying attention to the things around you will help.
The Israelites were awakened with Manna from heaven for 4 decades — 40 years — 2085.71 weeks — 14,600 days miraculously in a row. However, the day they woke up and no Manna from heaven, they were confused about their relationship with God. They thought that God had found them guilty of some sin because they had no idea of God’s plan. Do you label God when things are not going according to your plans? The answer sound clear to you.
Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Don’t allow your mind to wander off course. Keep your eyes open for new opportunities and possibilities. God has a place for you to discover and explore, but you can’t discover it in your comfort zone. He has position people in many places that you may not have thought possible, but you can’t see them unless you go out there.
It is important to remember that God’s purpose is not to punish you but to push you to move forward. He wants you to be strong and courageous to face challenges and obstacles. He wants your faith to be primed like a fire to ignite the flame of hope. Furthermore, he wants you to be ready for the opportunity that lies ahead and beyond your comfort zone because preparation and determination are the CEO of opportunity. Proverbs 19:21 says, “Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.”
Prayer:
1. Oh! Lord, thank you for your mercy and grace.
2. My God, you have the blueprint for my life; come and guide me in the right direction.
