The Mind of Holiness! 2
“Pursue peace with everyone, as well as holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.” Hebrews 12:14
Holiness has a remarkable effect on bringing people closer together. It is not only about being righteous but also about the way it works things out subconsciously through our minds. In business, career, and ministry, Holiness always positively impacts how we act and react to situations. The mind of Holiness is the most powerful tool for any relationship to be successful. Holiness is the heart’s desire to know God better than anyone else.
Holiness, create a life that is pleasing to God. This means living according to the word of God, not just living according to the flesh. The bible said, “Without holiness, nobody can see God.” Jesus Christ was found without fault throughout His ministry on earth, and He enjoyed the glory and presence of God. When you have the mind of Holiness, you will enjoy the presence and glory of God unusually.
Matthew 5:8 says, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.”
Jesus Christ has a holy mind, He was without blemish, and that’s why He could be found worthy to be offered as a lamb for the sins of all. He was always careful and pondered on the path of His feet. We should, as believers, keep ourselves from anything that can contaminate our minds. As we seek to follow God’s will each day, we can increasingly become holy as we become more like Christ.
An unbeliever cannot be holy in the presence of God, your heart needs to be sanctified with the blood of Jesus from dead works of the devil, and you can only achieve this by believing and confessing the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Give your heart today, and He will give you a mind of Holiness like Christ and give you the grace to live a holy life. Psalm 73:1 says, “Surely God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart.”
Prayer:
1. Dear Lord, I ask you today to help me understand and follow the path of Holiness.
2. Father Lord, purge me from every form of impurities that can make me unclean before you in the name of Jesus.
