The Power is in the Blood! 2
“In him, we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.” Ephesians 1:7
How often do you tap into the power in the blood of Jesus Christ? Do you use it sparingly or bountifully with a purpose and passion of assurance that there is power in it? Or you don’t just use it at all? Whatever way you are using it, I want you to know that the blood of Jesus is our assurance today and forever. It’s our justification before the Father, and it’s how we know God. Therefore, use it wisely.
By Jesus’ sacrifice, God dealt a final blow to sin. He destroyed the enemy’s hold over us. We are no longer slaves to sin or bound to fulfill the flesh’s appeal. We are irredeemably God’s children. Your salvation is as sure as what Christ has done. He is raised, and you are raised with him.
Colossians 2:14-15 says, “He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.”
My brother and sister, make that your focus and assurance today. As you go through your day, dwell on that fact of what Christ has done, and you will experience the bliss and prosperity his presence gives. You will have a superabundance life filled with love, joy, and peace for spirit, soul, and body.
There is power in the blood of Jesus Christ to heal, cleanse, save, and make us whole. The blood of Jesus is precious and has been shed for the remission of all sins. There are current and currency in his name. He is the Lord’s anointed one who brings salvation to those who believe in him. Do you believe it? John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”*l
Prayer:
1. Dear God, I pray that you grant a heart that believes.
2. Psalm 51:1 — “Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your loving devotion; according to Your great compassion, blot out my transgressions.”
