The power of Praise!3
“I will bless You AS LONG AS I LIVE; I will lift my hands in Your name. Psalm 63:4
Outstanding believers love to praise God, even when they don’t have it all together. Because they know the power of Praise and how to use it to their advantage in life. They appreciate anything and everything around them because they are so grateful for what God has given them. What about you? Are you grateful or grumbling?
When you cultivate a lifestyle of gratitude, you become more aware of the blessing that is available to you anywhere you turn. You will see your family and neighbor, even your enemy, as a source of blessing. However, if you love to complain, you will see something else, because there is no way out to see the blessing of God in all its glory but only through appreciation and gratitude.
Romans 8:28 says, “we know that all things work together for good to them that LOVE GOD, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” To those who love God must praise him in every situation. It’s not easy to do this, but it can be done as far that you believe that God wakes you up for a purpose for the day. And you can only do so by honoring Him with the fruit of your lips to show your love and gratitude towards him.
Praise propel the spirit of God into action in your life. The power of Praise turns you into true worshiper, who worship God in truth and spirit. It activates the heart of God and brings out the best and the joy of the Lord that gives you strength. It is the most powerful tool we have at our disposal. Use Praise, to dispose of all the negative emotions and thoughts that are holding you back from enjoying your day. Especially when you recite from Psalm 118:24 and say, “This is the day the LORD has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it.”
Prayer:
1. Lord, grant me the strength to overcome my negative emotion and bring out the best in me.
2. From this day forward, I refuse to complain or believe the report of the enemy; instead, I will seek God’s help through Praise.
