The Product of Love
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 1 Corinthians 13:4
Creation is a product of love. God had no need to create. God knows that he owns everything. God’s creation really shows the result of God’s generosity and love. God proclaims the creation as “good” in Genesis chapter 1. Getting this truth deep into our mind is helpful. Because God’s love for us is unique; likewise, the world God created is good. Unfortunately, our sin has blindfolded us not to see the goodness of God. However, God remains good for its nature. In Lamentation 3:22-23 says, “Because of the LORD’s loving kindness we are not consumed, for His love never fails. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness!” This verse is a reminder that God loves us unconditionally.
We cannot be afraid of God’s love for us. We must trust him and believe in his love. He will always be with us even when we do not know what to expect from him. God is faithful and will forever be with us no matter what is going on in our lives. God has given us the ability to live in his love without fear of judgment or condemnation. Psalm 103:10 says “God has not dealt with us according to our sins or repaid us according to our iniquities.” We are called to live in the love of God, which is eternal and everlasting. We should never forget that God loves us unconditionally.
1 John 4:10 revealed how God’s love manifested in our lives by saying “… not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins; and since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.” This means that we should always be ready to accept Jesus as Lord and savior. We should always be willing to forgive others for their faults, but also be willing to forgive ourselves for our own. According to Lao Tzu says “Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength while loving someone deeply gives you courage. This is the reason why I believe that God’s love was shown through Jesus Christ to give us strength and courage that silence the lie of the devil about your past. God has given us the strength and courage to live through his love for us. He has given us the ability to love others even if they don’t deserve it. We can choose to love others by loving them unconditionally. If we don’t love others, then how can we ever know what kind of person God is? 1 John 4:12 says “no one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love makes us complete.”
Love is a choice. God does not make us perfect or perfect people, but he makes us whole people who are worthy of love. When we have a heart filled with kindness for others, God will show up and show us the way. I am thankful for all that God has done in my life, and I am grateful for the blessings he has given me. He had made me stronger than I was before and gave me the strength to overcome any obstacle that came my way. I am thankful for his grace and mercy towards me as well as the love of God.1 Corinthians 8:3 says “… the one who loves God is known by God.”
