The Time to Think!

“If a trumpet is blown in a city, will not the people be afraid? If there is calamity in a city, will not the LORD have done it?” Amos 3:6

What is happening around presently in the world is not without the knowledge of God. This is a time to think not because the world is going to an end like people say but to know how strong is your relationship with God. The time to think about the things that are important in life is now.

The time to conduct a heart check as David did in Psalm 26:2 when he said, “Test me, O Lord, and try me; examine my heart and mind.” This is the time for self-examination to know if you have been consistent in your relationship with God or not. Check to see if your heart and mind will meet the integrity of God’s Word and His promises.

Let God know the integrity of your heart. There is no indecision in seeking God, you either do, or you walk away. If you stay, you will be known as God’s beloved child to see the truth of who you are. As 2 timothy 2:19 says, “Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knows them that are his. And, let everyone that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”

If God had allowed this epidemic disease to persist, then you, as a beloved child of God, should not be panic; instead, do a heart check. Let your heart seek the will of God and admit the need for help from Jesus. Let him lead you in the right direction will of God to bring you out of the deadly path. Isaiah 45:7 says, “The One forming light and creating darkness, causing well-being and creating calamity; I am the LORD who does all these.”

Prayer:
1. Dear God, thank you for helping me to the Holy Spirit.
2. Oh, Lord! Please help me to know your will in this season of my life.
3. Lord, by Your Blood, I break the evil covenant of death fashioned against me now in Jesus’ name.
