The Unchanging Word of God! 2
“I will not violate My covenant or alter the utterance of My lips.” Psalm 89:34
God and His word remained unchanged forever. They cannot be separated from each other because they are one. John 1:1 confirmed that “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” In other words, you cannot say you know or love God without God’s Word. We are all connected to God through His word. Our faith can only be boosted through the hearing of God’s word.
The Bible is an excellent source of information for us. God’s word is not an intellectual thing; it is a spiritual thing to reveals the eternal truth and His will for us to live by. Through His word, He has given us the power to know the things beyond our understanding. The word of God is breathed out by God purposely for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and training in righteousness, so that you and I may be competent, equipped for every good work in life (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Martin Luther said, “The soul can do without everything except the word of God, without which none at all of its wants are provided for.” Because it is by God’s word, we are able to keep our way pure, and when our way is pure, our soul becomes a living soul rather than to an immortal soul. That is why we must preach and promote the gospel to heal the broken-hearted, to save the oppressed, to bring peace, healing into our hearts, to set the captive free, and empower those who believed.
Psalm 119:130 says, “The unfolding of God’s words gives light; it imparts understanding to the simple.” In other words, God’s Word is the answer to every problem. It is the answer to everything. It is through God’s word that we can see the true meaning of life. It is through this that we can see the true nature of God because it is impossible to understand that He is a Covenant keeping God when we failed to read His utterance in the Bible. Proverbs 6:23 says, “For this commandment is a lamp, this teaching is a light, and the reproofs of discipline are the way to life.”
Prayer:

2. I pray that you continue to bless me with strength and courage in Jesus’ name. Amen
