There is a Plan for You! 2
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
As the months move swiftly in the year, many things diminished, especially hope and faith. People are tempted to give up on their dreams and aspirations as their imagination marginalized the possibility of the future. They abandon all their hope and ambition because of uncertainties of life that made them believe that they cannot achieve anything. But I want to encourage you, if you are in this category of people, that if you are willing to put in the effort with prayer and belief, you can accomplish anything.
I am sure you have heard before that God has a plan for you. The plan is to prosper you and make you great. The plan is not to harm you, make you weak, or be worthless. The plan is to help you become better at whatever it is that you do with a great expected end. Therefore, don’t see yourself as someone whom God has forgotten. Instead, see God in everything you do.
Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
All things will work in your favor if you believe God for it. He is the one who gives us life with hope, and He had assured us that our hope would not be cut off (Proverbs 23:18). In other words, you will not be disappointed in what you ask God for unless if it is not part of His will for you. Proverbs 19:21 explains that “Many are the plans in our mind, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.” Because our God is a professional planner, we can expect him to plan everything as it fits His will.
Therefore, I urge you to be strong and courageous. You cannot let things fall apart because you see other people achieve their goals for the year, and yours seem a little delayed. Remember, the delay is only temporary, and it is not a denial of God’s will. So, don’t lose hope in your dream and aspirations as the year is coming to an end. God has a plan for you; hold on to Him. Psalm 37:4 says, “Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”
Prayer:
1. Thank you, Jesus, for this opportunity of life given me to enjoy the goodness of the Lord.
2. Dear God, I thank you for not allow my expectation to be crushed by the reality of what I am seeing around me.
3. Psalm 20:4; “May the Lord grant you your heart’s desire and fulfill all your plans in Jesus’ name. Amen.
