THIS IS THE DAY OF JOY! 2

“I will be glad and rejoice in your loving kindness, for you have seen my pain. You knew about the distress in my soul.” Psalm 31:7

Do not let your ungrateful mode of yesterday ruin the glory of today. Someone somewhere else looks to this day to see, but unfortunately, for them, the chapter of the book of life was closed before yesterday midnight. No matter how life treated you yesterday, wake up each day, and be grateful. Remember, it is by the grace of God that makes it possible to wake up.

God knows about the distress in your soul. He sees what’s going on with you right now at this moment and that you need to get back up again. He sees your strength and determination. Therefore, do not worry because been worried does not impress or inform God. But your prayer, your gratitude, and your worship will invite God’s presence into your situation.

If you must invite God’s presence into your life through praise and worship, your heart must not be mixed with anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, or worry. Instead, it should be filled with gratitude, mercy, love, and joy for God and his people. It is through unmixed joyful moments we can indeed receive God’s presence in our lives.

Leviticus 7:12 says, “If he offers it in thanksgiving, then along with the sacrifice of thanksgiving, he must offer unleavened cakes mixed with olive oil, unleavened wafers coated with oil, and well-kneaded cakes of fine flour mixed with oil.”

Therefore, let your daily attitude be filled with unleavened joyous excitement and gratitude, if people ask you, why are you happy, remind them that “This is the day which the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24).

Prayer:
1. Raise your hands, thank God, and shout blood of Jesus.
2. Plead the blood of Jesus in every area of your life, family, and careers.
