“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
Jesus Made You Righteous – so that the light of God’s love will continue to guide you. We all have our own struggles and challenges in life. It’s easy to feel weighed down by guilt, shame, and regret for past mistakes that we’ve made. But through Jesus Christ, we can find a path to redemption and forgiveness. His sacrifice on the cross cleanses us from our sins and makes us righteous in God’s eyes. With Jesus as our guide, we can live through greatness and bless those around us with love and compassion.
God’s love shines brightly upon us when we accept Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and the life that leads us toward salvation. Therefore, let this devotion be a reminder that no matter what sins or struggles you may face right now, there is always hope for a better tomorrow in Christ Jesus. It’s why He gave us a conscience- so we may choose the righteous light even when faced with temptation. It’s easy to give in to sin and feel hopeless, but we can overcome anything with Christ by our side. We don’t have to carry the weight of our burdens alone; Jesus invites us to lay them at His feet and trust Him completely.
Matthew 11:28-30 says, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Jesus wants us to be whole and pure, free from the stains of sorrow that cloud our hearts. No matter how far we may have strayed from His teachings or how long it’s been since we last sought His guidance, Jesus never gives up on us. Instead, he waits patiently for us to return to Him so that He can help heal our wounds and guide us toward the path of righteousness once more. Jesus made you righteous, not by anything you’ve done, but solely through his sacrifice on the cross. This means you are worthy and deserving of God’s love and blessings.
You don’t have to earn your way into God’s favor because Jesus has already paved the way for you. All you have to do is accept this truth and believe in him. By following Jesus, you open yourself to a life full of purpose, joy, and abundance. He leads us to where new lives start, allowing us to let go of our old ways and embrace a new way of living – one centered on love, compassion, and selflessness. When we follow him wholeheartedly, we begin to see our lives transform in ways we never thought possible. Enduring life with faith can be challenging at times, but remember that all things are possible with Christ. Amen. 1 John 3:3 says, “All who have this hope in Jesus purify themselves, just as he is pure.” Amen.
Prayer:
1. Lord, help me stay committed to your teachings, even when challenging or inconvenient.
2. Holy Spirit, help me acknowledge my flaws and shortcomings while showing humility before God in Jesus’ name. Amen.
