Trust and Obey!2
“Surely, God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. For the LORD, GOD is my strength and my song, and He also has become my salvation.” Isaiah 12:2
“Trust and obey, for there is no other way to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.” John H. Sammis. From yesterday’s daily devotion, the Holy Spirit helps us to analyze that ‘obedience is the ability to follow through on your commitments that leads to blessing.’ I firmly believe that, because many people desire to live a life that God intended them to live.
However, they forgot that trust and Obeyed is the key to living a life that leads to blessing. It does not matter how you’re trying to assemble a product to finished good with raw material or with a well-designed component or food recipe. If you don’t follow the instruction that the manufacturer has given you, then you will have a different result than what you expected.
Noah was known as a faithful man to God, but his faith could have been written off if he did not obey God’s instructions. He followed every instruction that was given to him by God to build the ark. He obeyed God’s instructions, even when there were no signs of rain because he knew that obedience is much better and more reliable than sacrifice.
If you are going to show your faithful in your life, you must obey God’s instructions. Following the directions given to you by God will lead you to a successful life that God desires for you. Trust and obey God’s word, even when it does not make sense to you, or people around you, just ‘trust and obey.’ Isaiah 26:3 says, “The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace because he trusts in You.”
Prayer:
1. Dear Lord, I pray that you give me the strength to endure and trust you more than ever before.
2. Holy Spirit, please help me with my faith and obedience in God’s word.
amen
