Undivided Commitment!

Undivided Commitment!

“Then Jesus told His disciples, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me.” Matthew 16:24

Do you desire to know the secrets of great men and women? If yes! Journey with me as we take a look at the word ‘undivided Commitment.’ I tagged successful men and women as those who do not care about the worries of this life, but rather focus on the one thing that matters to their calling. They managed their time effectively and focused on a particular task without deviating from it.

The key is to be in sync with your calling. In the kingdom, a victorious Christian is one who will imitate the life of Jesus, as Paul witnessed and performed in Acts 20:24 saying, “However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me–the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace.” A successful son or daughter of God is the one that will give a full commitment to God.

Undivided commitment will motivate you to study the word, even when your body is weak, it will force a prayer life on you, it will quicken an undying hunger in you to know more about God. This undivided commitment is going to trigger a burning passion for lost souls in you. It will bring you into a state of knowledge and consciousness that your body is the temple of the Lord so that you will give proper care and attention to avoid unrighteousness exposure. In this way, you will be able to live a life of true love and devotion.

This undivided commitment to your calling and purpose in life will make you a better person than before. It will help you to become more like Christ, whom His faithfulness and love are exclusive in death and resurrection because of you. That is why we are called to imitate Jesus Christ, our redeemer, and savior who has given us the meaningful gift of eternal life through undivided commitment to help us fulfill our destiny. When we commit ourselves fully to Christ’s plan for our lives, we will be able to live a life that is full of joy and deep connection with God and the Holy Spirit. 1 Peter 2:21 says, “For to this, you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps.”

Prayer:
1. Thank you, Jesus, for your sacrifice and for all that you have done in my life.
2. Holy Spirit, work in me and bring about the fulfillment of my purpose and mission.
3. Isaiah 65:24. I pray the Lord shall reveal himself to you and answer you as you pray in Jesus’ name. Amen
