Unveiling the mysteries.
“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.” Ephesians 1:17
The World will always need to unveil the mysteries of the deep, without it, God’s love in our heart will be lost, and we will be left with nothing but darkness. Paul was praying here that God should give unto men the spirit of wisdom and revelation so that men may know God. This should be our prayer daily because the entirety of our works should be channeled towards knowing God. There are a lot of hidden truths that every believer must uncover; there are mysteries we need to unveil. Moreover, these mysteries are only accessible by believers (He answered and said unto them because it is given unto you to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them, it is not given. Matthew 13:11).
Until we lay our hands on these secret things of God, they will remain covered and can never be accessed by believers. Proverbs 25:2 says, “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter and the glory of kings to search it out.” When you diligently seek God’s truth, he will reveal to you the divine revelation all that lies beyond your understanding, because the secret things belong to God. Deut 29:29.
This world is being controlled and governed by spiritual forces. If believers must live to win this world, we must be fully spiritual to receive the mysterious directions to win. Before we were saved, the salvation and the message of the cross is foolishness to us because we haven’t been given the understanding of that saving mystery then. That saving mystery becomes unveiled to you, and that is why we could believe and confess Jesus as our Lord and savior. And that is the beginning of knowing God.
Your spiritual consciousness is not just to give you safety, money, or provide food and drinks but is the tool for accessing the kingdom of God. God deeply desires that you know Him fully and come into His light. He wants you to know him intimately, and he wants you to live in a way that will allow for the growth of your faith. Therefore, the desire to know him more and more will lead you to become more like Christ. John 17:3 says, “And this eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.”
Prayer:
1. Thank You, Jesus, for saving me.
2. In the name of Jesus, I receive more strength and insight in your word to know you more Lord.
3. In the name of Jesus, my father in heaven reveals your covenant to me to fulfill your purpose and fulfill your promise. Psalm 25:14
