Victory in Praise!

“Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!” Psalm 95:6

Praising God at all times is the most pleasant way to live and one of the most triumphant ways of life. Praise is like an engine oil pump that produces a steady stream of energy and makes the inner mind function even under pressure at it is best. It is not only good for your health but also helps you to be more productive.

Praise makes you see the world from a different perspective and make you think about things from another angle. That is why the bible said that the trial of our faith is not complete without praise (1 Peter 1:7). Because the trial of life is like fluctuations of fortune that give joy with sorrow, sunshine with shadow, and light with darkness, but what gives us hope without distress is the oil of praise in our hearts.

Psalm 71:14 says, “But I will hope continually and will praise you yet more and more.”

Through praise, we learn to live with peace and contentment. We learn to love God with all our hearts and soul. We learn to love others as ourselves. It’s how we grow spiritually and become more confident in who we are. Praising God brings out the true nature in us and our abilities to do great things in life. That’s why Psalm 150:6 said, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!”

Praising God gives you lifelike an April day; it gives you strength like a mighty warrior in battle; it gives you joy like a river, and it gives you hope like a dove. When we praise God, everything within us that seems dead will come alive, and all those around us will know that God is good. Psalm 100:5 says, “For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.”

1. Lord, I thank you for giving me victory in praise through Christ Jesus.
