Walking with God, Perfectly!
“And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3:18
Walking with God is an act and a way of life. We learn to walk with Him daily because we cannot assume we know what God demands par the time. Yes! I know it could be challenging to be consistent with the things of God. Many folks who desire to walk with God still find it challenging to walk flawlessly.
And at some point, we feel and think that walking correctly with God is impossible. If that is the case, then we’ve forgotten Enoch. Enoch was a man who walked in total alignment with God. God was so pleased with him, and then it was recorded that He wasn’t found on earth anymore. In order words, God took him to Himself.
Ephesians 5:10 says, “Test and prove what pleases the Lord.”
This is the exact explanation of what happens to us when we walk with God. In this earth, God might not take us physically to Himself, but He takes us to Himself in the Spirit; we gradually metamorphosis to the entire nature of Christ. Slowly and gradually, until we become like Christ. And at that point, we begin to operate in the full consciousness of Christ; we think and do things the way Christ would have done it. We see less of the world and more of the kingdom of God.
And right here on earth, we are already living in the Kingdom of God. Though we do not disappear physically like Enoch, but our Spirit is of God. This is a kingdom reality, and it is not farfetched. We only need to renew our minds with the word of God daily. Colossians 3:10 says, “Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him.”
Prayer:
Lord, help me to walk with you daily.
