Warfare and not a Funfare!2

“Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made the good confession before many witnesses.” 1 Timothy 6:12

A lot of effective and proficient prophecy has been said about you, but what is more important is how you respond to it becomes your choice. You can neither be in a state of warfare to bring the prophecy to fulfillment, or you can choose to be in a state of fanfare and let things slip away from you. Nevertheless, remember that the choice you made make you.

Before Christ was born, a lot was said about Him, and when he was born, he wastes no time of fulfilling the greatness prophecy. The devil tried so hard to distract Him with his desires and ambitions but failed miserably. Jesus refused to play the fanfare game; instead, he chose to war against the lie of the devil.

You too, cannot continue to play the fanfare game and expect to take hold of eternal life and glory. The only way to fulfill destiny’s purpose is by fighting for it because life is not a game or picnic, but spiritual warfare. It is a battle that must be won to receive the crown of victory.

The marathon race of the kingdom is not a contest, but an opportunity to win the prize of eternal life. However, you can win the prize if you fight the good fight of faith with all your heart and take hold of Jesus in every moment. Remember, “everyone who competes in the games trains with strict discipline. They do it for a perishable crown, but we do it for an imperishable crown.” 1 Corinthians 9:25

1. Lord Jesus, thank you for your steadfast love and mercy.
2. My Father in Heaven gives me the strength and courage to fight the good fight of faith in Jesus’ name.
