Wisdom, The Index of Maturity.
“ About the middle of the feast, Jesus went up into the temple and taught. The Jews marveled at it, saying, “How is it that this man has learned when he has never studied?” John 7:14-15.
The manifestation of maturity and one of life major influence factors is wisdom. Wisdom is not a skill you go to learn and get certified of but instead, it is about what type of man or woman, someone has grown up to become. It is imperative to know that daily we are to confront the world around us in the wisdom of God as it leads the way into prosperity. Jesus has been made the wisdom and power of God, and God demonstrated that incarnate wisdom when He sent Jesus to the earth as a friend and a burden bearer who came for the sake of those who are called of God into a life of peace and immortality.
The wisdom of the world cannot in any way stand the wisdom of God and when the scripture describes this wisdom, you will realize that wisdom host within its purity, peace, gentleness, and can birth good fruits in abundance (Jas 3:17). Solomon saw the dimension of this wisdom and said this, it is the principal thing, and the message version of this scripture wrote this as, “Above all and before all, do this; get wisdom…” (Prov 4:7). Aristotle said, “Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.”
Wisdom helps you to hold fast to your dreams because, with every dream that comes through, every mystery will disappear. Wisdom guides and guards our affairs and prevent us from entering into any wrong spot. It helps us to make careful decisions and never forgets because it can bear good fruits. The scripture showed us in James 1: 5 that if any lack wisdom, ask God for God gives wisdom liberally without holding back. Wisdom can bring you out of that tight spot and that uncomforting position. Wisdom is an index of maturity. Therefore, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7.
