Allow Him to Transform You!
“For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.” Philippians 2:13
Usually, when someone knocks at your door, you either give access by letting the person in or denying access by refusing. No one comes into your abode without your consent; otherwise, the person is a thief and trespasses on your property. God understands your will and choice, but He requires and expects you to let Him do whatever He wants to do.
God desires to make you the best He intends for you, but you can be hindrances to his plan. I do understand that the dealings of God may not appeal to your senses and reasoning. However, remember He is God, and His ways are not our ways.
Don’t limit God’s ability to work in you and through you. Instead, allow God’s word to take precedence over your thoughts and actions. The workings of the Lord are to the end of making you the very ambassador of Christ on earth, functioning in our full capacities. But we are not yet there and manifesting the same because we have not allowed his workings in us.
God works in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure. There is ‘a work’ in you. A mined raw gold has no value except it being worked upon, and that including the furnace of fire. What furnace of fire, experience, and dealings do you dispensed that limits you to where you are? As a raw gold will not get to the display room of valuables until refined, so will life be limited if he rejects the working of God. Therefore, it is time to let God. Let Him!
Revelation 3:20 says, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him and dine with him, and he with Me.”
1. Lord Jesus, I open the door of my heart to you, come in, and do what no man can do.
2. Lord, rekindle a fresh passion in me for Your Word to me in Jesus’ name.
