“I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine you have been taught; avoid them.” Romans 16:17

In Matthew 12:25, Jesus said, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined.” This serves as a reminder that allowing competition to consume your life can lead to disastrous consequences.
Even the Devil knows this truth. In Mark 3:26, it is stated that if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come. The Devil understands that competition can break apart even the strongest bonds of unity. So why continue down this destructive path? Instead, make a conscious effort to break free from the chains of competition. Remember that cooperation and collaboration are powerful tools to restore relationships and revive what once seemed barren.
Romans 12:4-5 says, “For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.”
Take time to reflect on the state of your heart and the effect competition may have on those around you. Seek forgiveness where needed and embrace a spirit of humility. By doing so, you’ll not only bring healing to yourself but also create space for growth and prosperity in every aspect of your life – whether it’s your marriage, business, or family. You don’t have to be trapped any longer. Choose to rise above the cycle of competition today and experience the transformation that comes with embracing unity instead.
Competition has long been ingrained in our society, driving individuals and businesses to strive for success at any cost. The relentless pursuit of being better than others can create a toxic environment where collaboration and cooperation take a back seat. So, It is possible to rise above the competition and embrace unity instead. Choosing unity over competition brings about a transformative shift in mindset. Amen. In your mercy, Heavenly Father, help me foster harmony within my family unit. Remove any barriers or conflicts that threaten to tear us apart. May love abound in our interactions with one another so that we may walk hand-in-hand toward a harmonious future. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
