Be Different -3
“Ants are creatures of little strength, yet they store up their food in the harvest.” Proverbs 30:25, 6:6
The ants have no commander in chief, yet they obey the rules of time and season; they have no prophet, yet they follow the wills and plan of God for their life. The Ants look very small, but yet they can lift 20 times their body weight. The ants are so different and always prove that they have wisdom and forethought. They prepare nine-month food ahead during the harvest time.
According to John C. Maxwell, Ants stand for;
• A- Attitude of initiative, and invention
• N-Nature of integrity.
• T-Thirsty for industry.
• S-Source of insight.
In another word, they are very wise and faithful to their nature, because they know who they are; they know how to motivate themselves to work; Ants do not need permission or a commander-in-chief to tell them how to get things started, because they have a sense of initiative. That is why the bible says we should learn from the ways of Ants, and become wise as well. Proverb 6:6.
Likewise, as a child of God, you should know who you are and be faithful to your calling; have a sense of initiative. Because you do not need any clearance or permission from the devil to do or possess what God is asking you to do or to acquire, it is yours, take it. Most of the time, you shut up and locked your mind or believed in the lies of the devil with #fear #Depression #Bitterness #Discouragement #Malice #Inferiority complex.
Maybe you are thinking, ‘I have never tried this before or nobody has done it before in my family’ or ‘what if I try it and fail’ let me tell you if you do not initiate that now, faith without work is dead. You must invent and patent that idea before somebody jump ahead of you. According to Winston Churchill, “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”
Initiate that business or calling now; be thirsty for greater things; learn how to invest and save something for the future. The adage says, “If you want to enjoy the shade of a tree while you are old, you must plant your tree while you are young.” You cannot sit down with Jesus on his throne unless you overcome (Rev.3:21).
To be an overcomer, you must be different; you must put the whole armor of God. You must follow the plan and the purpose of God, in another word, you must do the work God called you to do. Jesus said, “I must work the works of him who sent me, while it is the day. The night is coming, when no one can work.” John 9:4.
