“Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.” John 14:19
Because Christ lives, we find hope and strength in every aspect of our lives. God, in His boundless love, sent His Son, Yeshua. He walked among us to teach us how to love unconditionally, heal the brokenhearted, and offer forgiveness to those burdened by sin. As He bled and died on the cross for our transgressions, His ultimate sacrifice secured our redemption. The empty grave is a testament to His victory over death, revealing that our Savior lives eternally.
Christ’s resurrection signifies triumph over death and fuels our courage to face whatever tomorrow brings. In the words of Charles Spurgeon, The resurrection is a fact better attested than any event recorded in history. Fear loses its grip because we trust in Him, who holds the future. Every endeavor becomes meaningful when we remember that life itself is precious and worthwhile just because Jesus lives.
Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
In marriage and family life, His presence guides us through trials and celebrates with us during moments of joy. Much like Amy’s story—who faced a failing marriage but found reconciliation through faith—they experienced restoration through prayer and trust in Christ’s undying presence. With careers or business ventures, challenges transform into opportunities under His guidance.
Each day becomes a chance to witness Christ’s enduring promise as we live out our callings in ministry or community service. Just like seeds planted and nurture growth unseen at first, faith in action also yields fruits beyond imagination when grounded on Jesus’ living legacy. Remember, Jesus’ resurrection is not merely history; it breathes life into ours here and now because He truly lives! 1 Timothy 2:5 says, “For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”
Prayer for the Day!
I pray that the seeds of faith you plant through your actions grow into a harvest beyond your wildest dreams. May your faith be nurtured and anchored in Jesus’ living legacy and bear fruits that impact not only your life but also touch countless others. May these fruits be abundant in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). As the farmer diligently tends to his fields with hope and expectation, I pray that you too work tirelessly in God’s vineyard with confidence in His promises. Amen
