Being Patience!

Being Patience!

“It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.” Lamentation 3:26

It is quite mysterious and wondrous how human desire and want for things could be unending. Every of God’s blessings seems like a privilege for another higher thirst. And it has placed us in an endless race for wealth and riches. These are not words to criticize our demands for better or more things, but to correct our discontent, greediness, and quick desire for worldly things.

This unending desire has shifted our attention totally, and all we wake up to chase is the timely shadow, which is not kingdom based. How interesting and profitable would it be if every man can patiently wait on God for leading and appointed blessings? The earnest desire of wealth has made many take wrong and deadly decisions. It becomes our responsibility to make decisions if we can’t have patience because God only deals with us patiently.

Remember, God always wants to take us through every process, not to skip to the end. He has promised us good things to happen in our lives, but he has never allowed us to know the time. God showed Joseph the plan He has for his life through his dream, but He did not confirm or tell him the appointed time, but during the time he was waiting he faced a different kind of temptation, he was falsely accused and imprisoned, and at the end, God paid for his patience.

When we train ourselves according to God’s timing, we will be able to live in hope and faith, which is profitable. Impatient leads to more disappointment and failure (may this not be your portion). Therefore, develop godly patience and apply it daily to your life, it will bring the good to you. Ecclesiastes 7:8 says, “The end of a thing is better than its beginning; The patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.”

Prayer:
1. Lord, I’m ready to wait not just for blessings in physical form, but also your directions and leading. Help me, Lord Jesus.
2. Psalm126:4 My God, by your power, turn every disappointment of mine into a blessing, in Jesus’ name.
