Blessing others.

Blessing others.

“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.” 2Corinthians 9:8

The nature of a blessing is structured in blessing to others. When you intend to be a blessing to others, God will make sure that you are always blessed in abundance. When you become a godly (give wisely) giver to others, God will bless you with more than just money, and others will give thanks to God because of you.

The blessings of a man or woman are not just measured by how much he owns; the best yardstick is how much he or she can give. When God blesses us, He isn’t just blessing us for ourselves. There are channels He also wants us to touch: Our God is not selfish. Blessings are not only in the form of money or wealth; blessings might come as information, knowledge, ideas, power, skills, etc. So, never wait until you have riches before you know how much you are blessed or how much you can give.

Sharon G. Larsen says, “You don’t have the power to make rainbows or waterfalls, sunsets or roses, but you do have the power to bless people by your words and smiles You carry within you the power to make the world better.” God bless you with that word or money so that you can bless someone He loves or bless someone in need.

Abraham, the father of faith, was known to have been tremendously blessed by God. Abraham would have made a mistake if he had thought God was going to bless him for himself and his family alone. Instead, God said, “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse, and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you. Genesis 12:1–3.

I have seen people who know or have a thing but can’t bless others with it. The proof of every blessing is ‘blessing others.’ I can’t prove my blessings when I can’t give, and no man can give what he doesn’t have. Moreover, when we exhibit God’s principle of blessing, God will also fulfill His promises… I will bless those who bless you.
