Challenges Birth Maturity!

“But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained their senses to distinguish good from evil.” Hebrews 5:14

The work of changing people does belong to the Holy Spirit. You cannot manifest transformation without the handwriting of the Holy Spirit boldly written on your spiritual résumé. Life without the Holy Spirit is like a desert without water. Therefore, as a gentle reminder, be flexible enough to depend on Him for the changes you desire.

Every one of us will, at a time or the other, face challenges. But when it comes, be patient to realize that God is about to take you to a higher level, rejoice and give thanks, then refuse to give up. In other words, be patient and persistent. You can be sure that you’re maturing when you begin to see the hand of God through different circumstances in life. However, before this can take place, there are things you have to let go of, or else you will continue to misinterpret God’s word.

Hebrews 6:1 says, “Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God.”

Don’t try to avoid or escape the difficulties in life; when you do, you delay your growth and end up with the worse kind of pain. Instead, endure; grasp the eternal consequences of your character development today. Instead of questioning God, pray that He uses the situation to make you more like Himself. Because challenges birth growth opportunities, so, prepared to face them.

When you’re facing trouble or difficulties, it is not the time to ask unnecessary questions like “why me,” rather, ask God, “What do you want me to learn? “or “what do you need me to do?” our God surely hears us, and He will undoubtedly speak to you about it. Just be patient and attentive. Trust God and keep on with the right things, and you will overcome. Hebrews 10:36 says, “Patient endurance is what you need now so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.”

Prayer:
1. May I never run out of patience with You, Lord. Mold me, Make me in Jesus’ name.
2. Oh Lord, impart me with your wisdom and knowledge so that I can when you are near in Jesus’ name. Amen.
