Christ’s constancy Brings Hope! Part Two.
“He was with God in the beginning.” John 1:2
Christ’s constancy brings Hope because He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. His love never fails, and His mercies are new every morning. Great is His faithfulness! Because Christ is constant, we can have Hope in Him no matter our circumstances. Hope in Christ gives us the strength to face anything that comes our way. Remember, Jesus was never bound by time and space the way we are. He is always present and always the same.
Christ’s love and compassion never change. And his promise to always be with us is as true today as it was two thousand years ago. Therefore, If you are looking for stability and consistency, you need to look no further than Jesus Christ because He is unchangeable. You can trust Him completely, knowing He will never let you down. In John 1:1, we read, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” The Word refers to Jesus Christ, and this verse tells us that Jesus has always been with God and is Himself, God.
John 1:14 says, “The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
Remember, Jesus existed before Abraham (John 8:58). John 1:3 also confirmed that “Through Him, all things were made, and without Him, nothing was made that has been made.” In other words, Jesus is not just human but also divine. He surely has eternal life and divine nature. Therefore, He is totally trustworthy and dependable. He will never change His mind or go back on His promises. In addition, Jesus is compassionate and merciful. He knows what you’re going through and is always willing to help. When you come to Jesus, you can be sure that you’re not alone. He will guide and protect you every step of the way.
So, if you’re looking for stability and consistency in your life, turn to Jesus Christ. He is the only one you can truly rely on. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). When you seek Him, you will find Him when you search for Him with all your heart (Jeremiah 29:13). He will never leave you nor forsake you. So, trust in Him with all your heart, and lean not on your understanding because He is unchanging and always faithful. We can trust in Him completely. Amen. Matthew 7:7 says, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.” Amen.
Prayer:
1. Lord Jesus, I thank you for your mercy that is new every morning as I walk through the busy life.
2. Romans 12:2; LORD Jesus, renew my mind, passion, and hunger for your Word. Holy Spirit, grant me understanding as I read God’s Word in Jesus’ name. Amen.
