“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6

Heavenly Father, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude. Thank You for the gift of this day and for the blessings You have poured into my life. Your Word tells us in Psalm 1:1-3 that those who delight in Your law are like trees planted by streams of water, bearing fruit in due season. I declare that today, I will trust in Your guidance and wisdom as I navigate the decisions ahead of me.

In the name of Jesus, I seek Your counsel, knowing that Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs me to lean not on my own understanding but to acknowledge You in all my ways. Lord, grant me the clarity I need to discern Your will. Just as You granted Solomon wisdom when he asked for it, I humbly ask for Your insight and understanding in every choice I face today (1 Kings 3:5-14).

Psalm 1:1-3 says, “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.”

May the Lord fill me with the power of the Holy Spirit as promised in Acts 1:8, so that I walk not in the counsel of the wicked but to delight in your direction. Let Your presence lead me, empowering me to make choices that align with Your purpose. I pray that my decisions bear good fruit, reflecting Your love and truth in every situation.

Father, I hold onto the promise of Isaiah 40:31, knowing that “Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.” Lord, help me to wait patiently for Your direction and to trust in Your timing. May I be like that tree by the water, flourishing even amid challenges.

As I step into this day, I ask for Your guidance in every moment. Remind me that with You, all things are possible, and give me the courage to follow where You lead. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray. Amen.
