Do You Have Faith?
“And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.” Matthew 8:13
Having faith in God is to believe that He exists and knows everything about us. We are not just to know him but also to believe that he is there with us because there are differences between knowledge and faith. When we have strong faith in God, our lives will please Him more and more. When we have strong faith in him, our lives will glorify him more and more. This is why Hebrews 11:6 say, “Without faith, it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.”
Faith in God is a powerful tool to help us live a better life. Therefore, we must nurture a seed of faith in our lives every day to become stronger and stronger. It is fascinating that Jesus Christ said that if you have faith like a mustard seed, you will grow up strong to move a mountain without touching it. Because with faith, nothing can be impossible. But when you lose faith, there is no hope for anything else. Therefore, I want to challenge you today to start believing God for everything you need in your life, just as little children would believe their parents for everything they needed.
Luke 1:37 says, “For nothing will be impossible with God.”
A life of faith will help you find rest in the middle of difficult situations in your life. A life of faith in the word of God, prayer, and worshiping God will consume the impossibility out of your life. You will not only live to please God, but you’ll have more energy to pursue your dreams and enjoy the abundant life Christ has for you as from today. The reality is that faith is not just another religious myth or mirage. On the contrary, it is a tangible spiritual substance. It is the intangible proof of things hoped for and the spiritual evidence of things not seen.
Would you like to have your needs met by God? Your faith is the only way to connect and receive what you need from God. Without faith, nothing works. However, there is another very critical reason why you must believe. This is because “…without faith, it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Mark 9:23 says, And Jesus said to him, ‘If you can’! All things are possible for those who believe.”
Prayer:
1. Thank you, God, for all that you have done. I am grateful.
2. Declaration! “I am a believer and not a doubter; My faith will work signs and wonders for me. I know whom I believed; He can never fail me! He can do exceedingly abundantly above all I can ever ask or think In Jesus’ name. (Amen)”
