Do You Have Faith? 2
“For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth, one confesses and is saved.” Romans 10:10
“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it, the people of old received their commendation. By faith, we understand that the universe was created by the word of God so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible. By faith, Abel offered God a more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, through which he was commended as righteous, God commending him by accepting his gifts. And through his faith, though he died, he still speaks. By faith, Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and he was not found because God had taken him. Now before he was taken, he was commended as having pleased God.” Hebrews 11:1-5
Dear brethren, faith has its conviction that when you have a strong belief in something, it makes you leap out of your comfort zone. Faith is the ability to trust in God, even if you don’t know what lies ahead or how things will turn out. When you increase your faith in God, you support yourself with every structure and resource to help you face any challenges. Faith is a strong foundation for everything else because our hope network will be scattered without faith. I prayed that your hope would not be cut off in Jesus’ name. Amen.
1 Corinthians 15:58 says, “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”
Faith is a strength that comes from knowing God and trusting him with confidence to do whatever He asked you to do even things are not looking good at the moment. Just like father Abraham’s faith in God, when God told him, “Go to the land I’ve called you to dwell in, and I will make you into a great nation.” Genesis 12. The bible said Abraham did obey according to God’s instruction as instructed; This was the beginning of his faith before the blessing of God followed.
Brethren, we should remember Abraham’s faith and the blessing that follows when we are thinking otherwise to follow God’s instructions. Imagine the things you’ve failed to achieve in the past; do you know they could have been possible if you had a strong faith in God? Sometimes, we mutter and say we have faith, whereas faith is not faith until every part of us aligns with our belief in God. Do not weep anymore; build and use your faith because your faith does not match your problems. Luke 1:37 says, “For nothing will be impossible with God.”
Prayer:
1. Oh Lord, I canceled every spirit of fear holding me to trust and believe in you fully.
2. Lord, strengthen my spirit that I may have a strong faith in you in Jesus’ name.
3. Lord Jesus, you are my salvation, strength, and peace in Jesus’ name. Amen.
