Don’t Forget: Life has Purpose at Every Stage!
“The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.” Psalm 138:8
The purpose of life is a question that has puzzled humans for centuries. Yet, some people believe that life has a specific purpose and that it’s important to remember what it is. Whether you believe in a higher power or an unseen force, there are things you can do to help make your life more fulfilling and fulfilling. However, it is important to remember that life has a purpose at every stage.
Either you are in a gloomy, rosy, and wealthy or a wretched, unhappy, moody position. Remember that every stage of life is for a purpose. Don’t assume that because you are too smart, that is why you are blessed or attain a good job. Do not let your perspective of the current condition diminish the purpose of God in your life. Instead, try to find out God’s motive for the current level of your life. It may be something as simple as a job or something like saving lives and having a deeper relationship with God, but whatever it is, try to find out what he wants from you.
Esther 4:14 says that Mordecai told Esther, “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows if perhaps you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
God set Esther up to the position of a queen to be an advocate for the children of Israel, but she was not aware of the purpose not until Mordecai narrated it through the wisdom of God. From that point forward, queen Esther realigned herself with the word of God and prayer. She was able to use her power to fulfill the purpose of God after identifying the purpose of her being a queen. It is an opportunity.
Be faithful to this simple question; the present stage you are, why has God put you there, and what does God want you to learn from there? You are not reading or listening to this devotion, but you are reading or listening because God wants to do something unique with your current position (Good or bad) but I pray that your current position will allow you to continue to grow in wisdom and knowledge for greater things in Jesus’ name. Amen. “To everything, there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1
