Don’t Forget: Life has Purpose at Every Stage! Part Three

“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born, I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5

There is no stage of life where God is not present and working. He is with us in the good times and the tough times. We may not always be aware of Him, but He is always with us. Even when we are born, God is there, working in our lives. He has a purpose for each of us, and we can find His passion for our lives by looking at the stages of life. As we go through different phases, we can see how God works in our lives and what His plan is for us.

We can trust that God will be with us every step, guiding us and supporting us as we journey through life. He is with us in the good times and the tough times. No matter our stage in life, we can always find purpose in it through Him. In the early years, we learn and grow in the knowledge of God. We begin to develop our character and learn how to interact with the world around us. We are constantly learning and growing during these years as God’s plan is unfolding.

2 Corinthians 3:18 says, “And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.”

As we enter our teenage years, we grow and change more rapidly. We start to form our ideas and beliefs and figure out who we are. This is a time of great exploration and discovery. We are starting to grow into the people God has created us to be. In our twenties and thirties, we often start our professional lives and become more settled into our roles in the world. We may start families and begin to raise our children. This can be a time of great satisfaction and accomplishment. We are using our God-given talents to make a difference in the world.

As we get older, we may think about mortality and what comes after this life. This can be a time of great reflection and preparation. We are reminded that our time on this earth is short, and we need to make the most of it. We can do this by living more for God and helping others. So, no matter what stage of life we are in, we can find purpose in it through God. He is always available to guide and support us when we know Him in truth and Spirit, and never forget God’s great purpose for us at every stage of our lives. Isaiah 14:27 says, “For the Lord of hosts has purposed, and who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, and who will turn it back?”

Prayer:
1. In the name of Jesus, God helps me find my purpose in life and guides me every step of the way.
2. Psalm 57:2, Oh Lord, guide me and fulfill your purpose for me and give me strength to stand up against all odds that may come against me in Jesus’ name. Amen.
