Embracing the future with God! Part Two
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not evil, to give you a future and hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
No one can predict the future, but we can embrace it with God. Just as we would trust a friend or partner in business, we can trust Him to lead us through whatever comes our way. Proverbs 23:18 says, “For surely there is a future, and your hope will not be cut off.” This verse assures us of God’s faithfulness and the hope we have in Him. We can trust that God will be with us whatever the future holds. Remember, the future with God is like planting a seed in the ground and trusting that it will grow into something beautiful with time, water, and sunshine.
Sometimes we may feel overwhelmed by what the future may bring. We might be worried about things like job security or the well-being of our loved ones. But God is with us, and He knows what is best for us. We can rest in His peace, knowing that He will guide us through whatever comes our way. In difficult times, it can be helpful to remember that God is with us. We can pray for His guidance and comfort and know we are not facing these challenges alone. Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
Proverbs 23:17-18 says, “Don’t envy sinners, but always continue to fear the LORD. So then, surely, there is a future, and your hope will not be cut off.”
No matter what the future holds, we can rest in knowing God is with us, and He has a plan for us. As a result, we can embrace the future with confidence, knowing that we are walking with God every step of the way. Remember, embracing the future with God is like investing in a company with Him as the CEO. He has the wisdom and foresight to lead us toward success so long as we remain loyal and devoted. In other words, It requires us to trust fully in Him, believing He will ultimately bring about what is best for us, even when it may not make sense.
That being said, one thing you can be sure of is that no one will ever come out on the losing end when they do business with God. On the contrary, success follows when people align their lives with His principles, allow Him to direct their paths, and seek His will above all else. Every act of obedience brings a reward far exceeding anything we could hope or imagine. Whether it’s spiritual blessings or tangible material rewards, no one who puts faith in God ever goes without being rewarded somehow. Amen. 2 Corinthians 9:8 says, “And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.” Amen.
Prayer:
1. Lord, grant me the strength to do what I cannot do alone.
2. Lord, I surrender myself to you; help me in my weakness and give me strength to overcome my fear in Jesus’ name. Amen.
