Energize Your Faith!

“And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.” Luke 17:5

An essential weapon to a believer is faith without doubt. It is the first requirement in the believer’s journey (…and shalt believe in your heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9). So, the essential requirement is to fill our hearts with faith, which is simply an act of believing the unbelievable. We enter into the realm of the Spirit and get connected with the Father of glory through faith.

Mark 11:24 says (paraphrase), ” And if there’s anything we desire, we can surely have it by creating a database of faith for it.” Unfortunately, many believers are operating below the expected level of faith. Though we try to put our faith to work, but lacks substance in the real sense. Some of our declarations don’t carry weight because they are not backed up by faith rooted in God’s word.

2 Corinthians 5:7 says, “For we live by faith, not by sight.”

The only means to energize our faith is through the word (So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17). We often try to claim things based on our head knowledge and not what God says. If it is by our knowledge or traditional reasons, then faith is void. However, our faith becomes a strong connecting power when it is based and rooted in the word of God.

Every testimony in the word of God is a powerful message to give us hope and strength in times of need. They are evidence that God is alive, and they are powerful to increase our faith level. Let your faith be Word-based and not world-based. “I pray that out of his glorious riches, he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. Then you, being rooted and grounded in love.” Ephesians 3:16-17

1. Lord Jesus, help my faith and give me the grace to work in your word.
2. Psalm 147:3: Oh Lord, heal the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds in Jesus’ name.
