ENGAGE YOUR TALENTS! 3
“Whoever is faithful with very little will also be faithful with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.” Luke 16:10.
When you have done your best with that which was entrusted to you, the reward will surely be great, and you will be happy in the end. You cannot stay unproductive; there are talents right inside you, which must not be neglected. You must appreciate God’s gift. Make use of what you have at your disposal always so that you will experience an increase in every aspect of your life.
One of the worst things to do with your talent is comparing yours to others. It is a waste of time and energy if you compare yourself to others who have more than you. Instead, focus on your talents and skills rather than comparing them to others’ abilities or talents.
A dog has a bigger eye than a cat, but cats can see better than Dogs. “A cow eats grass and gets fat, but if a dog eats grass, it will die.” Therefore, you should never compare yourself to other people’s talents or abilities. You can learn from successful people, and use them to your advantage to develop your talent.
Your one talent can become something significant when you are faithful and dedicated to it. Don’t be afraid of being different because everyone has his/her unique talents and abilities. God’s deposited talent in you makes you unique. If you want to be successful and outstanding in life, then focus on what makes you unique. If you do this and work hard at it, one day, God will say, “Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Enter into the joy of your master!” Matthew 25:23

Lord, help me to know my talent and worthy of my calling in Jesus’ name. Amen
