Fellowship in the Spirit! 2
“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; A broken and a contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.” Psalm 51:17
In the Spirit, human see beyond the natural and the material things. The spiritual world is a place of mystery and wonder where we know beyond the immediate reality. When you fellowship in the Spirit, you will see the bigger picture of a life that reveals the why’s and how’s of life before it exists in the natural world. Through the Spirit, you will understand the meaning and purpose of life in this world.
Nevertheless, the type of spirituality you connect yourself with will determine your path to enlightenment, enlargement, a sense of purpose, and other life experiences. Many people have chosen to connect with spiritual darkness and denied the existence or presence of God. They have chosen to ignore the light or even deny his existence because they are afraid of what the light might reveal about them. Because evil things are cover-up in the darkness that leads to the destruction of many souls. (Job 18:5)
John 3:19 says, “And this is the verdict: The Light has come into the world, but men loved the darkness rather than the Light because their deeds were evil.”
You cannot embrace the darkness to understand the light of truth, which is God’s will for you. However, you can connect with the light to understand the things in dark places and who you are. John 1:5 says, “The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.” In other words, it is the light of the truth that will help us become an overcomer. The light will bring us out from our darkness and make us see the good in all people and situations, but not until we begin to fellowship in Spirit and truth.
The fellowship in Spirit and truth connect us to the divine light of Christ and give us a way out of the darkness. When the divine light shines upon us, no external force of darkness can control us. The only thing needed is faith in God because this is where the power of prayer gets activated when we fellowship in Spirit and truth. John 4:24 says, “God is Spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and truth.”
1. Thank you, Jesus, for your presence in my life.
2. Lord, guide me into the direction of righteousness in Jesus’ name. Amen!
