“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33

In the sacred prose of Haggai 1, we find a profound reminder: the temple lay in ruins while God’s people prioritized their own comforts over divine calling. The hollow echoes of neglect ring painfully through our hearts, urging us to reorder our lives. “Consider your ways,” the Lord pleads, revealing that when we place Him first, His power flows through us. Just as the Israelites were called to rebuild, so are we challenged to reconstruct our priorities — aligning our lives with God’s divine purpose.

“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness,” proclaims Matthew 6:33. In the whirlwind of our busy lives, we often become distracted, losing sight of the first thing: our intimate connection with God. When we prioritize His kingdom, everything else falls into place. Imagine the overwhelming power we can unleash when we let God lead! 

Psalm 84:11 says, “For the LORD God is a sun and a shield; the LORD gives grace and glory; He withholds no good thing from those who walk with integrity.”

In Proverbs 16:9, we are reminded, “The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.” Here lies our truth: no matter how elaborates our plans, God’s blueprint for our lives is paramount. Each step taken in faith becomes a testament to His mighty hand at work. When the chaos of life threatens to engulf us, let us Pray that God Order His loves, and redirect our energy toward what truly matters.

In those busy seasons, when time feels scarce, remember that prioritizing God opens the door to His abundant grace. As we place Him first, we tap into a reservoir of strength and clarity, enabling us to navigate life’s storms with unwavering faith. A heart set on the Lord radiates joy and resilience, lighting the way for others to witness His glory. Amen. Luke 12:31 says, “But seek His kingdom, and these things will be added unto you.” Amen.

Prayer for the Day!

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your unwavering presence in my life. I humbly ask You to reorder my priorities so that I may honor You above all else. Guide my heart to seek You first, that Your power may flow through me, transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary. Let my steps be established in Your purpose, illuminating the path for those around me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
