Flee From Doubt!
“Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” 2 Corinthians 2:11
Perfecting the saints is heart-based. Whatever work God intends to do in your life will happen in your heart. If the heart is already transformed, your life will be changed. That’s why all the attacks of the devil come directly to the heart. He isn’t much concerned about whatever you do as long as your heart belongs to him.
Having identified a desire in your heart, something he sees that you value and hold tightly to your heart, he then puts doubt in your heart. He attacks your belief system to the point that you begin to doubt everything you have ever learned about God, His doctrines, even to the miracles you have ever seen with your own eyes. This is when you start to question everything, even yourself worth. It’s like a tiny prey but ready to pounce on your faith.
Doubt will herald your heart, and you will begin to question their veracity. The moment where you see yourself doubting the love of God for you, you begin to doubt what God has said about sin, you begin to feel the urge to prove the laws of God whether they are correct or not, this is the devil attacking you with unbelief. At this point, pray, read God’s word, and don’t switch off your mind from the truth.
Remember, God wants you to be happy, and He does not hate you irrespective of your righteousness or unrighteousness. He wants you close so that you can fulfill your purpose. Never let the devil tell you tales to make you feel sorry and angry with God. Don’t entertain doubt at all. The moment you feel doubt about God and His power, the devil is about to pollute your mind, quickly flee from it. Replace such doubt with the word of God, and the Spirit of God will deliver you in Jesus’ name. Amen. James 1:6 says, “Ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.”
Prayer:
1. I replace every spirit of doubt with the power of God in my life now.
2. I receive the spirit of sound faith in Jesus’ name.
3. Isaiah 41:10 – Fear not and do not be dismayed, for God is with you; God will strengthen you and will help you, He will uphold you with His righteous right hand in Jesus name.
