Free From Guilt.

Free from guilt

Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:12

Guiltiness is one of the most substantial emotional burdens people will take around as humans if care is not taken. Guilt makes it harder to see the good in others and in yourself. It’s like a weight that weighs on your shoulders, and it takes away all the joy you have inside. It’s like a heavy burden that makes you feel worthless. I pray that every spirit that makes you feel worthless will be washed away by the blood of Jesus Christ.

As believers, we live every day of our lives to become a better person. Our mind is to be renewed to meet up with the will of God. Once we accept Jesus, we have been transformed into a new man; our past is no longer a part of us. Not at any point should we feel guilty because of what we have done in the past, or make others feel guilty of their actions.

God is not interested in making anyone feel guilty; He doesn’t operate in that way. He wants us to experience life fully and completely. Christ has favored us with forgiveness of our sins and for his love. This is why we are called to live a life of grace, not condemnation. When we repent, God has given us the opportunity to live a life of grace and mercy in Christ.

The devil who is the source of every guilt and our primary accuser was defeated a long time ago. Revelations 12:10, “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.” When we walk in this consciousness, we will be free from all guilt that is pressing us down and hindering our progress.

Our walk with others should encourage them to move closer to God. It doesn’t matter how sinful they might be, we should speak of how best they can be; how God can use them rather than how the devil has used them. The words of our mouth and attitude should be free from guilt because Jesus had paid the price for all our misbehavior.

Jesus desires that we embrace His saving grace; grow in His word; move forward in faith and sin no more. Jesus spoke to the woman who was caught in adultery in John 8:10-11 and said, (paraphrase) if no one condemned you, neither do I condemn you, but go and SIN NO MORE.

Prayer:
1. Thank you, Jesus, for the gift of salvation and for your forgiveness.
2. Father, set me free from all guilty thought that holds me back.
3. Matthew 11:28, Jesus said: “Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” I pray that every spirit that makes you feel worthless will be washed away by the blood of Jesus Christ.
